1The promoter

1.1The promoter is Home Ice Cream Pty Ltd, ABN 83 009 843 690, of 173–181 McDougall Street, Toowoomba City QLD 4350 (Home Ice Cream, we or us).

1.2Competition enquiries may be directed to hello@homeicecream.com or to the official Home Ice Cream Facebook page.

2Competition format

2.1This is a free-entry promotion. Winners will be selected by a random draw from valid entries that correctly identify the returning product. No purchase or entry fee is required. Entrants are responsible for their usual internet access charges.

2.2The returning product is the single Home Ice Cream product referred to in the official competition post. Its identity will be revealed on the Home Ice Cream Facebook page after entries close. The correct answer will not change during the competition.

3Who can enter

3.1Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or over who reside in Queensland or New South Wales at the time of entry and can provide an Australian postal address. Residents of other states, territories or countries are not eligible.

3.2Entrants do not need to live in a Home Ice Cream delivery area. However, the voucher can only be redeemed at a Home Ice Cream van or depot. Entry does not create a right to ice cream delivery to an unserviced address. Winners must arrange access to a van or depot; travel and related expenses are not included in the prize.

3.3Employees, directors and contractors of Home Ice Cream and its related entities, Home Ice Cream franchisees, Van Sales Operators, anyone involved in administering the competition, and their immediate families are not eligible. Immediate family means a spouse or partner, parent, child or sibling, including step and adoptive relationships.

3.4Entrants must use a genuine personal Facebook account and be contactable through that account. We may request reasonable evidence of age, identity or residence to verify eligibility.

4Entry period

4.1Entries open at 12:00am AEST on Friday 11 September 2026 and close at 5:00pm AEST on Sunday 13 September 2026 (Entry Period). All times in these terms are Australian Eastern Standard Time, UTC+10.

4.2Entries must be received on the official competition post during the Entry Period. Late entries will not be accepted. Facebook timestamps, supported by our entry records, will determine when entries were received.

5How to enter

5.1Comment on the original official competition post on the Home Ice Cream Facebook page with your guess as to which Home Ice Cream product is returning. Comments on other posts, advertisements or shared copies, and guesses sent by private message, do not count as entries.

5.2Only correct guesses are valid. Obvious spelling variations and references that clearly identify the correct product will be accepted reasonably and consistently. Each entry must identify one product; a list of multiple products does not qualify.

5.3You may submit one entry per AEST calendar day during the Entry Period, for a maximum of three entries. Only your first guess comment on the official post each day will be assessed. Additional comments that day do not replace it or provide extra entries. If your first guess is incorrect, you may try again on a later day during the Entry Period.

5.4Edited comments are eligible only if the final guess is submitted before the closing time. Comments edited after closing, or removed before entries can be verified, may be excluded if their timely submission and content cannot be established.

5.5Entry limits apply per person across all accounts. Automated entries, entries submitted for another person, and entries from fake, duplicate or business accounts are not accepted.

5.6Sharing the post, tagging friends, liking the post or following the page is not required and does not provide additional entries. By submitting an entry, you agree to these terms.

6The draw

6.1The draw will take place at 6:00pm AEST on Sunday 13 September 2026 at 173–181 McDougall Street, Toowoomba City QLD 4350.

6.2Ten distinct provisional winners will be selected using a random electronic selection process. Each valid entry has an equal chance of selection. Entrants do not need to attend the draw.

6.3Valid entries submitted on different days each count separately, but no person may win more than one prize. Once a person's entry is selected, their other entries will be removed from consideration for the remaining prizes.

6.4If fewer than ten distinct eligible entrants submit valid entries, each receives one prize. Any remaining prizes will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law; they will not be allocated as additional prizes to those entrants.

6.5Winning entries remain subject to eligibility verification. We will retain records of entries, the draw, notifications and prize fulfilment for five years, or any longer period required by law.

7The prize

7.1Each prize is one original printed Home Ice Cream voucher redeemable for one free retail box of the returning product, with a retail value of A$21 including GST. There are ten prizes, with a total prize pool of A$210 including GST.

7.2The voucher covers the whole cost of that box. No additional purchase, minimum spend or payment of a price difference is required to redeem it, including if the retail price changes before redemption.

7.3The voucher is for the specified product and box size. It is not a general A$21 credit and cannot be used towards another product, exchanged for cash, sold or transferred. No change or unused credit is payable.

7.4If the returning product becomes unavailable, we will arrange fulfilment or offer a similar prize of equal or greater value with the winner's written agreement and any necessary regulatory approval. Temporary lack of stock does not automatically cancel a valid voucher.

8Posting and redeeming vouchers

8.1We will post each voucher, at our cost, within 14 calendar days after receiving the winner's full name and complete Australian postal address and confirming eligibility. We will arrange dispatch earlier where needed to meet an applicable delivery deadline, including delivery within 28 days of the relevant draw for a readily identifiable winner. Any later delivery must be permitted by applicable law.

8.2The voucher will be posted; the ice cream will not be posted or freighted. The winner must provide an accurate postal address and promptly tell us of any correction.

8.3A voucher may be redeemed at any Home Ice Cream van or depot during its normal service or opening times. Winners should check access and stock before making a special trip. Home Ice Cream does not operate in every suburb or state.

8.4The original printed voucher must be physically presented and surrendered when the box is collected. Photographs, screenshots, photocopies and other reproductions are not accepted. Each voucher has a unique reference and may be redeemed once only.

8.5Vouchers expire on 31 December 2026, as printed on the voucher. If a delay caused by us or product unavailability prevents reasonable redemption before expiry, contact us before expiry where practicable and we will arrange a reasonable extension or another lawful remedy.

8.6If a voucher is lost, damaged or not received, the winner should contact us. After verifying the claim and confirming the voucher has not been redeemed, we will cancel its reference and issue a replacement. A copy or altered voucher cannot be redeemed; accidental damage does not prevent the winner from seeking a verified replacement.

8.7One prize voucher may be redeemed per transaction. Any additional products are optional and payable separately.

9Winner notification and unclaimed prizes

9.1We will reveal the returning product on the Home Ice Cream Facebook page on the evening of Sunday 13 September 2026. Winners' first names and suburbs will be published after eligibility and address details have been verified. Published results will remain available for at least 28 days.

9.2We will send provisional winners a Facebook Messenger direct message from the official Home Ice Cream page within two business days of the draw, requesting their full name, complete Australian postal address and confirmation of eligibility. We will not request payment or banking details to claim a prize.

9.3If account settings prevent a direct message, we will reply to the winning comment and ask the entrant to message the official page. Entrants should check message requests and notifications. Postal addresses must be supplied privately, not in public comments.

9.4Winners must reply with their full name, complete Australian postal address and confirmation of eligibility within seven calendar days of the initial notification described in clause 9.2 or 9.3. Each notification will state the deadline. We will make reasonable follow-up attempts before treating a prize as unclaimed. Any longer period required by applicable law will prevail.

9.5If a provisional winner is ineligible, declines the prize, or cannot be identified or contacted after reasonable efforts and the applicable claim period has expired, the prize may be redrawn to the extent permitted by law. A prize will not be forfeited solely because the winner did not attend the draw. A confirmed prize will not be withdrawn merely because we have not yet posted it.

9.6Any required redraw for unclaimed or forfeited prizes will take place at 10:00am AEST on Friday 25 September 2026 at the address in clause 6.1, subject to any longer legally required claim period or regulatory approval. Only remaining valid entries from people who have not won a prize will be included.

9.7Redraw winners will be notified within two business days and have the response periods in clause 9.4. Their prizes will be posted under clause 8 and their results published under clause 9.1. If a further lawful redraw is needed, it will occur at 10:00am AEST on the first Friday after the applicable claim period expires, at the same address. Any regulator-required change will be announced on the official page.

9.8Public winner announcements will not include full postal addresses or other contact details.

10Privacy

10.1We collect entry details, including Facebook account names, comments and timestamps, to administer and verify this competition. Winners' full names and postal addresses are collected to confirm eligibility, post vouchers and manage redemption or replacement. By entering, you consent to publication of your first name and suburb if you win, as described in clause 9.

10.2Information may be shared with staff, franchisees and service providers only as needed to run the competition and deliver or redeem prizes, or as required by law. Entry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications. Competition records will be kept as described in clause 6.5; personal information no longer needed will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

10.3Our privacy policy is available at https://www.homeicecream.com/privacy-policy.cfm. Contact hello@homeicecream.com to request access to or correction of your information, or to raise a privacy concern.

11Not associated with Facebook

11.1This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. To the extent permitted by law, each entrant releases Facebook, Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from liability arising in connection with this competition. Questions and complaints must be directed to Home Ice Cream, not Meta.

12General

12.1We will administer the competition fairly and apply these terms reasonably and consistently. We may disqualify an entrant who acts fraudulently, tampers with the entry process, submits unlawful or abusive content, or materially breaches these terms.

12.2If circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent the competition running as planned, we may take reasonable steps to suspend, vary or cancel it, but only as permitted by law and after obtaining any required regulatory approval. Material changes will be published on the official Facebook page and communicated to affected entrants where reasonably practicable.

12.3Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. We are not responsible for an entrant's internet costs or independent travel arrangements, but this does not exclude responsibility that the law places on us.

12.4Queensland law governs these terms, subject to mandatory New South Wales laws and other applicable consumer protections. Nothing prevents an entrant from contacting a regulator, making a complaint or seeking a remedy available under law.
